Dear friends of the vision,

It was a beautiful sunny but warm day on the front entrance of the Massachusetts State House. It was erected in 1795 on land bought from the Hancock family. Samuel Adams and Paul Revere laid the cornerstone. It was here at the main entrance, now closed to the public, that we held our 45th Prayer Across America.

Driving through Boston is a challenge unlike any we have had to date. Many of the streets are narrow, diagonal, and end at inopportune places. The one-way streets made it difficult to drive to the site for our prayer time. The 1:00 pm start time was fast approaching. I came up the other side and made a U-turn with my flashers on. I later saw several do that same maneuver. Whatever you need to do to get there, seems to be appropriate.

Since we received our permit only three days before our prayer time, I had apprehensions regarding cooperation of the officials. I should know by now that the Holy Spirit has everything under control. Two days before our prayer time, we went to security concerning our location. I was greeted by a strong voice asking what I was doing praying at the capitol building. He quickly smiled and said, "we need a lot more of this in Boston!" He not only walked to the site of our prayer but assured me that on Thursday, I should park my car on the apron in front of the capitol building to unload our equipment. He would then get in my car with me and take me to a special place to park. A near-by parking tower cost $32, so I was so thankful for the favor of the Lord.

As we set up for our prayer time, we were shocked to see two people formerly from Chicago and one visiting from Chicago, join us and help us pray. The Director of Chi Alpha Ministries and some students also joined us. My dear friend with National Prayer Network for College Campuses, Harvard University Campus, moved our hearts as he prayed the prayer of repentance. There were other ministries represented and friends who helped us pray for the state of Massachusetts and our nation.

I remain deeply concerned about Americas commitment to prayer! We will never be safe unless we get back to God through our Lord Jesus Christ and begin to obey His commandments. In Leviticus 26:3a.6a "If you keep my laws and are careful to obey my commands....I will give you peace in the land, and you will be able to sleep without fear..." It is the people who must take back America! We do that with prayer, our vote, and communication with our elected officials. Judicial activism is radically redefining society in ways opposed by most Americans. Just this week, six weeks after the Supreme Courts ruling, Alabama signed a bill into law limiting the use of eminent domain for private development. A similar law is pending in 16 states. This serious judicial activism is an insidious ideology that denies the right of self-governance to free people. "Woe to those who decree unjust statutes and to those who continually record unjust decisions, to deprive the needy of justice, and to rob the poor of My people of their rights..."Isaiah 10:1,2

We are down to five states and Washington D.C. It has been a long journey but a very fruitful one. As one minister said in Bismarck, North Dakota, "you will have prayed these prayers 51 times over America!" God not only hears but answers our prayers. There will be a great shaking in America! There will be many elected officials who will not be returned to office! There will be a major removal of judges by the power of the Holy Spirit, as we have prayed as David prayed, "Banish those who turn to crooked ways, O Lord!" Psalm 125:5a
