Dear friends of the vision,
We deeply regret that our email name, "Watchprayer," was viciously violated! We are so sorry and apologize for this. It has been our sole purpose to share what God has done at each capital prayer meeting. We will promptly remove any email from our list upon a direct request to our office. This word from Psalm 105:14a "He will not let anyone oppress them." We cannot let this infringement stop us. We will finish the course!
Connecticut's nickname is the Constitution State because it adopted the first written constitution base on the will of the people in 1639. Here is a brief statement from this document, "Forasmuch as it hath pleased the Almighty God by the wise disposition of His divine providence so to order and dispose of things that we the inhabitants and residents of Windsor, Hartford, and Wethersfield ....enter into combination and Confederation together, to maintain and preserve the liberty and purity of the Gospel of our Lord Jesus which we now profess, as also the discipline of the Churches, which according to the truth of the said Gospel is now practiced amongst us.."
The seal of the state has a Latin phrase, "Qui Transtulit Sustinet'" that translates to "He Who Transplanted Still Sustains." This is a portion of scripture from Psalm 80:8.
Today, they have approved same sex marriage and are on a slippery slope of ungodliness in many ways. However, all is not lost! A new insurgences of prayer is being birthed in many places.
Today, joining us for our 47th prayer mission were people of various churches, National Day of Prayer, Family Institute of Connecticut, and Concerned Women for America from the neighboring state of Springfield, Massachusetts.
