Day5

Dear friends of the vision,

A hot day on the steps of the beautiful capitol building in Harrisburg, PA. This was our fortieth capital prayer meeting. We were met with wonderful folks of Messianic Ministry who help us with great worship with the shofar. Concerned Women of America once again brought class to our prayer time with such sincerity and deep devotion. An aide to a state senator joined and we blessed him with prayer. A prophetic word as to his future in setting the course for faith and truth in government, was given. We also had a pastor from a local church and the highlight was our friends originally from Chicago, now back in PA, leading ministry for Teen Challenge. Some of their staff was there to encourage and help us with the heavy work after a very warm day in the sun.

There were some unique moments in Harrisburg capital prayer. We met a friend staying in our same RV Park. He is a great singer, shofar blower, and shared his musical gift at the prayer time. One of the ladies attendilng the prayer time, had a dream and saw the words, Prayer Across America. She went on the internet and found our website, the place and the date. She prayed one of the prayers with great anointing. On this same day, a business man heard on Christian Radio about prayer at 1:00 at the capitol steps came, and opended with the prayer of faith.

Once again, the diversity of whom the Holy Spirit wanted present was unique, as we prayed for the nation, the state, the churches, and the military. Pennsylvania is faced with a great challenge as the governor wants gambling as a source of revenue. We know too well the destruction of gambling and must pray that it is defeated everywhere it raises its head. For that reason and others, I felt a heaviness for two days and struggled in prayer at church before we went to the steps of the Capitol building.

Of all the capitol buildings we have visited, Harrisburg has some of the greatest quotes in their masonry. Supreme Court room is lined with script of the Ten Commandments, Beatitudes, and many other Godly foundational statements of faith. We must continue to pray that there will be a return to the founding fathers great faith.

William Penn received this land as a gift from King Charles of England. William Penn wanted his new colony to provide freedom for all religions. Too often, Christianity is being lost in the advancement of laws that violate the very foundation of God's own laws, the Bible.

We now head for Albany, NY. We need your prayers and support as we find fewer churches to draw from.
