The Rev. J. Phillip Epperson and his wife, Vicki, leaders of the Prayer Across America team based in Oak Forest, will being a journey Sept. 11.

They plan to travel to every state capital in the union over a period of one year, hitting one state per week.

The mission of Prayer Across America is a call to every person in every church of every denomination and parachurch ministry to travel to his or her state capital and pray for the nation.

Epperson and his wife will join other Christian leaders in the yearlong prayer mission that will culminate at the nation's capital, Washington, D.C., on Sept. 11, 2005.
