Prayer for Wisdom for State Leaders - Prayer Across America

Our glorious Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, Your only Son. You gave to us your Son as the Godhead bodily that we might know you in the power of Christ’s

Resurrection, the hope of His glory! We come to You in that great name asking You, the one who rules the universe, to come and help lead the states of our nation in a path of great wisdom, justice and mercy.

Your Word says, “Happy are people of integrity, who follow the law of the Lord. Happy are those who obey His decrees and search for Him with all their hearts. They do not compromise with evil, and they walk only in His paths.”

We bring before You the New England states and their leaders. Father, You said in Your Word that you reprove leaders for our sakes so that we may live a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty.

We pray that skillful and godly wisdom has entered into the hearts of the governors, Legislators, and judiciary of these New England states of Vermont, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Maine, and Connecticut.

We believe that knowledge is pleasant to them, that discretion watches over them and understanding keeps them and delivers them from the way of evil and from evil men.

We pray that men and women in positions of leadership and authority in these New England states will be people of integrity; blameless, and complete in Your sight, Father. Your word says it is an abomination for leaders to commit wickedness. If these leaders refuse to honor You and Your Word, may they be removed! As the Psalmist David said, “Banish those who turn to corrected ways oh Lord!”

We pray that these state leaders be established and made secure by righteousness because right and just lips are a delight to those in authority and the people love those who speak what is right.

We pray and believe that the good news of the Gospel continues to be published in these New England states. We thank you for raising up intercessors for these New England states in name of Jesus Christ our Lord and savior. Everyone said, Amen!

Most High God, I come to You in the name of Jesus, asking you and no other, for divine wisdom, understanding, and mercy for our state leaders of the Mid-Atlantic States.

The Word of God tells us that a wise king winnows out the wicked [from among the good] and brings the threshing wheel over them [to separate the chaff from the grain]…it says that loving-kindness, mercy, truth, and faithfulness, preserves the king, and his throne is upheld by [people’s] loyalty.

We ask God, that You winnow out the wicked and separate the chaff from the grain, as godly leaders in the Mid-Atlantic States put their faith in You.

May your loving-kindness, mercy, truth, and faithfulness, preserve the godly leadership and the wicked be removed in these Mid-Atlantic States.

We pray that skillful and godly wisdom has entered into the hearts of the governors, legislators, and judiciary of these Mid-Atlantic States of Delaware, Washington D.C., Maryland, New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania.

We believe that knowledge is pleasant to them, that discretion watches over them and understanding keeps them and delivers them from the way of evil and from evil. Amen.

We pray that the men and women in positions of leadership and authority in this area of our country be people of uncompromising principles. The Word of God says that when the [uncompromisingly] righteous are in authority the people rejoice; but when the wicked man rules, the people groan and sigh.” It also says that he who sows iniquity will reap calamity and futility.

Oh God, help us to read and believe Your Word and ask You to remove from this region, wicked people that sow iniquity, and restore uncompromising leadership in their place. Then the people can once again rejoice and celebrate Your praises!

We pray this in that most wonderful and glorious name called Jesus!! Everyone said, “AMEN!

Our heavenly Father of whom there is no shadow of turning, we come in the mighty name of Jesus Christ our Lord! We believe that you hear us today as we pray for the leadership of the Midwest States.

Your Word says that “by the blessing of the influence of the up-right and God’s favor [because of them] the city is exalted, but it is overthrown by the mouth of the wicked.”

We pray that the blessing from the up-right will be exerted over this region and that each of these states be exalted to its rightful place of authority and favor, because of You oh Lord. May the mouth of the wicked be stopped and the voice of the ungodly be silenced in this crucial time.

We pray that skillful and godly wisdom enter into the hearts of the governors, legislators, and Judiciary of these Midwest States of Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Michigan, Wisconsin, Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, Iowa,
Missouri, and Kansas.

We believe that knowledge is pleasant to them, that discretion watches over them, and understanding keeps and delivers them from the way of evil and from evil men.

We pray that men and women in positions of leadership and authority in this region will truly recognize the importance of integrity and be blameless in God’s sight. If they will not obey You, may they be removed. The scripture says that “that the upright shall dwell in the land, and the men of integrity, blameless, and complete [in God’s sight] shall remain in it: but the wicked shall be cut off from the earth, and the treacherous shall be rooted out of it.”

So today, we choose life and deliverance in the name of Jesus Christ. We thank you for the angels who have charge over our lives, who protect us, and keep us in these Midwest States.

In that great and glorious name of Jesus we pray! Everyone said, AMEN!

Our Father, the God of all the earth who will do right, we come in the name of Jesus Christ. We place our faith and trust in you today as our source of blessing, health,and strength.

As we pray for this southern region, we thank you for the long line of favor and blessing bestowed here. Your grace and blessing has been in abundance in this area, but in many ways we have forgotten You. You want to visit us again with Your divine blessings. Your Word says that “divinely directed decisions are on the lips of the king; his mouth should not transgress in judgment.”

We pray that the leaders of these Southern States be men and women divinely directed in the decisions of their lips. In Proverbs it says that “Right and just lips are the delight of the king, and he loves him who speaks what is right!”

We pray that skillful and godly wisdom has entered into the hearts of the governors, legislators, and judiciary of these Southern States of Mississippi, Louisiana, Alabama, Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Tennessee, Kentucky, Virginia West Virginia, Arkansas. We believe that knowledge is pleasant to them, that discretion watches over them and understanding keeps them and delivers them from the way of evil and from evil men.

We believe that “it is an abomination [to God and men] for kings to commit wickedness, for a throne is established and made secure by righteousness in every area and relation.”

We pray that his region will be made secure by righteousness and spiritual goodness in every area. May there be a great awakening for our nation because these leaders of this area are willing to acquiesce to what is right in Your sight oh God!

We pray this in Your great name Jesus! Everyone said, AMEN!”

Dear Father, in the name of Jesus, we come to You asking You to hear our cry for the State Leaders in the Southwest States. You are a mercyful God with unfailing love toward us. Even though we have failed You, You have never failed us!

We pray that you will help us do what is good, just, and honorable in your sight in this region. Your word says, “Do what is good and run from evil-that you may live!

The the Lord God Almighty will truly be your helper, just as you have claimed He is. Hate evil and love what is good, remodel your courts into true halls of justice. Perhaps even yet the Lord God almighty will have mercy on His people who remain.”

Help us to hate the sin committed in this region but have love and compassion for the sinner. May we truly run from the evil and plead for your mercy for your people. May they turn from their wicked ways and seek Your face, oh Lord. As Paul the Apostle said, “We were following the course and fashion of this world, we were under the sway of the tendency of this present age, following the prince of the power of the air.” Set this Southwest region free from this great stronghold of darkness and sway of the prince of the power of the air. Let the leaders of these states be free to obey you and plead for mercy for themselves and those who live under their authority.

We pray that skillful and godly wisdom enter into the hearts of the governors, legislators, and judiciary of these Southwest States of Oklahoma, Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, and Nevada. We believe that knowledge is pleasant to them, that
discretion watches over them, and understanding keeps them and delivers them from the way of evil and from evil men. If these leaders will not obey You, may they be removed.

We believe that great stability will come to these states because Your Word says, “When a land transgresses, it has many rulers, but when the ruler is a man of discernment, understanding and knowledge, its stability will long continue.” As the leaders of this area have understanding and knowledge of who You are and obedience for what You are, stability will be established in this region.

We pray this in the great and glorious name of our Lord Jesus Christ! Everyone said, “AMEN!”

Our Father and our God, we come to You with grateful hearts and a humble spirit, acknowledging you as the Lord of all. As the Psalmist David said, “I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. My help cometh from the LORD, which made heaven, and earth.” These beautiful Mountain States truly declare Your glory and the works of Your great hands.

Forgive us for loving the creation more than the Creator. Your word clearly states that “in the beginning God created the heavens and the earth”…and again it says, “In the beginning the Word already existed. He was with God, and He
was God….He created everything there is. Nothing exists that He didn’t make.”

We pray that You will convict us of our sins in state leadership, in church leadership, and in our homes. You said through the Apostle John, “And when He comes, He will convict and convince the world and bring demonstration to it about sin and about righteousness and about judgment.”

Today, we ask for that convincing spirit to come upon these Mountain States so strongly that evil hearts will turn to You, and that those who have governed carelessly will once again come to the straight and narrow path of your Word.

We pray that skillful and godly wisdom enter into the hearts of the governors, legislators, and judiciary of these Mountain States of Idaho, Wyoming, Colorado, Utah, and Montana. We believe that knowledge is pleasant to these leaders that
discretion watches over them and understanding keeps and delivers them from the way of evil and from evil men.

We pray that the thoughts of these state leaders will come into agreement with Your will and plans. Proverbs states that“You, God, will cause our thoughts to become agreeable to Your will and so shall our plans be established and succeed.”

We pray this in the matchless and glorious name of Jesus, the King of all kings! Everyone said, “AMEN!”

Dear Father, in the name of Jesus, the Great I AM, who is from everlasting to everlasting and is the same yesterday, today, and forever, we pray and believe that You will hear our spirit pray to you today!

We pray that citizens of these Pacific States become so weary of sin and degradation in their state leaders that they will begin to seek out godly leaders to represent them on every level of government. Your Word says, “Morning after morning I will uproot all the wicked in the land, that I may eliminate all the evildoers from the city of the LORD.”

We pray and believe that the hearts of these state leaders is in Your hand and that their decisions are divinely directed by You O Lord. It is written in Your Word that “the heart of the king is in the hand of the LORD, and You turn it whichever way You desire.”

We pray that skillful and godly wisdom enter into the hearts of the governors, legislators, and judiciary of these Pacific States of California, Oregon, Washington, Alaska, and Hawaii. We believe that knowledge is pleasant to them, that discretion watches over them and understanding keeps them and delivers them from the way of evil and from evil men.

We pray that the state leaders in this region be established and made secure by righteousness because right and just lips are a delight to those in authority and the people love those who speak what is right.

We pray this in the name that is above every name, Omnipotent, Omniscience, Omnipresent God, our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Everyone said, “AMEN!”
