Dear friends of the vision,
Wow! What a ride! Yes, we made it all the way to Washington D.C. My, how the Lord helped us and kept us on this very long journey and daunting task!
So many of you prayed and supported us all the way to the end. We cannot thank you enough. You will be greatly blessed for showing such favor toward us. It was while driving into New Mexico early in our journey, the Holy Spirit said, "I will bless those who bless you!" Allow the Holy Spirit to bless you in whatever area of life you may be lacking.
If you do not go to Washington D.C. often, you forget how daunting Capitol Hill can be and how inspiring the Mall and the many commemorative monuments are.
Our prayer time was fantastic but not without challenges. Since we had a permit to pray in the west, center, lawn, we chose the shade under several large trees for our last prayer time across America. Our battery operated sound system would not work. Never, never, never, give up. Through our son, and some dear friends, they figured out how to convert power from our Saturn car to the speaker. With the cooperation of the Capitol Police, they drove the car near our site and soon we had sound!
How can we ever say thank you to those who came for this finale in DC! Our friends from various locations across America were present. Concerned Women for America, along with Capitol Prayer, National Day of Prayer, ministers, and scores of friends. The shofar team led by Mr. Shofar, was outstanding. Our dear friends from the Chicago area led worship and sang songs of praise to God. The banner and dance team from Ohio was incredibly beautiful as they worshiped and magnified the Lord..
We prayed for the 51st time, the prayers the Holy Spirit had given us before we started our journey. We also prayed for 9-11 victims and Katrina Hurricane evacuees. The benediction truly expressed our faith that God heard us! We then shouted several times, "Let the Great Awakening Begin!!! Truly, it has already begun in many parts of the United States. Yes, I believe the east coast is on the front side of the exponential curve for the awakening that will now go from sea to shining sea!
Let me admonish all of you to pray at your state capital regularly. If we don't pray for our state and national leadership, America will cease to be good. Therefore, America will cease to be great! We will no longer be one nation under God! WE MUST PRAY!
Bless you for caring!
